What You Can Expect
In this in-person class you will learn about the energy used in the system of Reiki that I practice (Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki). We’ll cover the history of the system of Reiki as developed by Mikao Usui in the 1920s and the continuation and development of the Usui Reiki Ryoho (Usui Reiki Healing Method) into Western cultures.
You will experience Reiki healing meditations and learn about Holy Fire Reiki. I’ll teach you original Japanese techniques to use with Reiki, the 5 Precepts used in Usui Reiki Ryoho, and you will receive a placement of Holy Fire III Reiki energy. This placement (called an attunement in other systems) will prepare you to receive and channel Reiki energy. You will learn hand placements to provide tenohira (palm healing) to use during self-treatment.
This class is designed to introduce you to energy work and a spiritual path lead by Reiki. After learning how to use hand placements for palm healing (what we think of when we think “Reiki”), you will be encouraged to practice energy sensing, various Japanese Reiki techniques, and hand placements to channel Holy Fire III Reiki energy for self-care and personal growth. You are also encouraged to practice on friends and family.

Holy Fire level 1 training
Thank you Tracy for offering this in person training. I signed up for this training not really knowing what Reiki was. I now know! I love learning and this path of a healing journey fits my life and fits in great with my yoga practice. Many similarities with both of these modalities. Tracy was an excellent teacher full of knowledge that she relayed to her students. She took the time to explain and reexplain(if needed) to me certain things that I had a hard time grasping. Class discussion was inspiring and it was wonderful being with like minded people. Thank you Tracy. I highly recommend this class!

Coming in as a new student to Reiki for my initial 'Shoden' training, I didn't know what to expect. I knew that I wanted to immerse myself in the world of 'energy work' as a means to support my spiritual journey. Taking a leap, I followed my intuition and signed up for the class when I discovered it was being offered. From the moment I enrolled, and throughout the course, Tracy's engagement has been wonderful. Starting with the first welcome email, I was given clear guidance on the path, the history, and potential of Reiki. The classes themselves were warm and welcoming, with plenty of opportunities for hands on practice using Reiki meditation and healing techniques. Having recently completed my Shoden level of Reiki training, I am already experiencing many positive and powerful changes.
