What You Can Expect
In this three-day, in-person class you will learn about the energy used in the system of Reiki that I practice (Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki). We’ll cover the history of the system of Reiki as developed by Mikao Usui in the 1920s and the continuation and development of the Usui Reiki Ryoho (Usui Reiki Healing Method) into Western cultures.
You will experience Reiki healing meditations and learn about Holy Fire Reiki. I’ll teach you original Japanese techniques to use with Reiki, the 5 Precepts used in Usui Reiki Ryoho, and you will receive a placement of Holy Fire III Reiki energy. This placement (called an attunement in other systems) will prepare you to receive and channel Reiki energy. You will learn hand placements to provide tenohira (palm healing) to use during self-treatment.
This class is designed to introduce you to energy work and a spiritual path lead by Reiki. After learning how to use hand placements for palm healing (what we think of when we think “Reiki”), you will be encouraged to practice energy sensing, various Japanese Reiki techniques, and hand placements to channel Holy Fire III Reiki energy for self-care and personal growth. You are also encouraged to practice on friends and family.
As your Reiki Master Teacher, I will be available to mentor and support you on your Reiki journey. Included in the cost of my courses is this support, a private Facebook group and additional learning opportunities.
